Some people move out for interns as summer courses and others would have interns as main focus in regard to their curriculum. Many may be confused that how to primarily start up when he/she thinks to do the internship program. There are two interns being provided. One is free interns and the other is paid interns.
1) Free interns:
Free interns are something that the company will give as summer based or curriculum based interns without giving any stipend (a temporary and low salary for those who has not completed their course).
2) Paid interns:
Paid interns are that the same candidate will be given project and on completion of it or during the project period he will be given stipend. The range of stipend may differ from company to company or by the individuals’ performance.
Steps in approaching for internship course:
1) Primary factor is that before approaching to any company, it is must to prepare a resume which holds necessary details like any previous experience in doing projects or papers or achievements and so on.
2) After preparing the resume, decide which company you wish to do the interns. Decide in such way that the company gives you good exposure and that supports your areas of interest.
3) If it is a summer interns then try in companies where you know the people those who work there. This will increase the chance of you getting interns.
4) If possibility of getting such kind of interns is less, then move to the homepage or website of those companies which have selected.
5) Now click on the careers tab, there you will have interns option. Go to that page and upload your resume or upload your details.
6) Seeing on the performance, they will get back to you soon.
7) Prepare according to the company’s focus and also for some HR questions and be strong in your technical part.
